We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager who, reporting to the Director, Sourcing and Operations will be responsible for the coordination, administration, and day-to-day Management of the operational activities for the Holland, MI CLC facility as well as management of the warehouse supervisors and personnel. The Warehouse Operations Manager provides a comprehensive range of operations support and service to management and staff and working alongside the Director, Sourcing and Operations develops and implements operations programs and policies.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and administer the daily operations for the CLC Holland facility
- Review daily inventories and plan daily production moves, as well as order fulfillments and pass-through orders
- Conduct regular staff meetings to coordinate facility activities
- Works with Quality team to conduct investigations and makes recommendations as appropriate regarding issues of product quality
- Design and implement warehouse operations programs and strategies that are responsive to the needs of the company and guarantees close integration with overall company goals
- Utilizing lean manufacturing methods, assist in the management, implementation and coordination of operations to reduce or eliminate nonconforming product and financial losses
- Perform training needs analysis, and initiate, develop and coordinate the implementation of specific facility wide training as well as Individual Development Plans
- Oversee and monitor the workload and productivity of the operations staff
- Assist in the hiring, performance evaluation and discipline process for operations staff
- Establish continuous improvement opportunities to effectively streamline workflow and operational efficiencies, perform cost containment exercises, and create best practices for all warehouse and preprint job functions
- Manage the compliance of all safety and ISO requirements for the facility
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred
- Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a Plant or Operations Manager capacity in a technical manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Experience using Lean Manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping/facility optimization is strongly desired. Assembly line setup and optimization experience is strongly desired

- Works independently with minimal supervision
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have a very high attention to detail in all work produced

- Must possess excellent listening skills, the ability to understand issues, to maintain confidentiality and to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints with sound judgment, diplomacy and tact
- Excellent computer skills using advanced features of applications such as: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as ERP systems - - knowledge of NetSuite is a plus
