As the Director of Applied AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company's solutions by harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a roadmap of AI-driven solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by community financial institutions. Your strategic vision and technical expertise will drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage across our product portfolio. What You'll Do:  

  • AI Strategy and Roadmap Development
    • Define and execute the company's AI strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to enhance existing products and develop new offerings.
  • Product Innovation:
    • Drive innovation by conceptualizing, designing, and implementing AI-powered features and capabilities within our software solutions. Lead the development of AI-driven products that meet the evolving needs of our clients and provide them with a competitive edge in the market.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and integration of AI initiatives across the organization. Work cross-functionally to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and deliver impactful solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Research and Development:
    • Stay abreast of the latest AI research, trends, and technologies relevant to the fintech industry. Evaluate emerging tools and techniques, conduct feasibility studies, and lead exploratory research projects to assess their applicability and potential impact on our products and services.
  • Ethical AI Practices:
    • Champion ethical AI practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data privacy, security, and fairness. Uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency in all AI-related activities and decision-making processes.

What You'll Need:  

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leadership in AI, with at least 7 years of experience in AI research, development, and deployment, preferably within the fintech or banking industry.
  • Deep expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and other AI technologies, with hands-on experience in building and deploying AI-driven products and solutions.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies and drive innovation at scale.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders at all levels, and articulate the value proposition of AI initiatives to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong commitment to ethical AI principles and practices, with a demonstrated understanding of the ethical implications of AI technologies and a dedication to promoting responsible AI development and deployment.
