- Deployment and Configuration: Deploy and configure AWS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform, ensuring seamless integration and automation.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards, safeguarding our cloud environment against potential threats.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization for maximum efficiency.
- High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery, leveraging AWS services like Auto Scaling and backup solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues, collaborating with support teams to minimize downtime and maintain optimal system performance.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of AWS architecture, configurations, and procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred), along with AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure, coupled with proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, and IAM.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, security best practices, and compliance requirements, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
- Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone.
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Regular and on-time attendance.
- Must be able to prioritized, schedule and complete testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules.
- A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
- Hours may exceed 40 hours per week.
- Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
