Proposal/ Marketing Coordinator
Description
- Monitor the daily progress of projects, ensuring project milestones are progressing and remain on track
- Maintain and monitor project timelines throughout the RFP process
- Provide regular, detailed updates to appropriate stakeholders
- Ensure projects adhere to established guidelines and all documentation is maintained and archived appropriately for each project
- Perform the necessary daily tasks to keep proposal projects on track
- Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings
- Document, distribute and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Track business opportunities throughout the sales process utilizing Salesforce and Wrike
- Undertake project tasks as required
- Bachelor's Degree required (Communications, Journalism, English, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred).
- 4+ years of project coordination/management
- Strong project management experience a must. PMP or similar certification a plus.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Must be able to work under critical deadlines and to re-evaluate priorities while exercising discretion, diplomacy and good judgment.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly motivated and detail-oriented
- Must possess a strong sense of urgency and dedication to meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite
- Experience with or knowledge of the following is a plus:
- Proposal processes and systems
- Salesforce
- Wrike Project Management software
- Strategic response management and RFP software (Responsive)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone.
Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Regular and on-time attendance.
Must be able to prioritized, schedule and complete testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules.
A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
Hours may exceed 40 hours per week.
Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
