OVERVIEW: 
Revenue Cycle Team Leaders make a positive impact on the firm and the Revenue Cycle team by providing front line leadership and support to a Billing and Collections team, guiding the group to unsure they meet their objectives and financial goals. 
 
The Revenue Cycle Team Leader reports to the Manager, Revenue Cycle. 
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Manage the Billing and Collections staff, including billing for multiple international offices and the oversight of firm wide Accounts Receivable to include contacting all clients and reconciling all accounts for clients. 
 
  • Motivate, inspire, and develop all team members through regular structured feedback and planning. Support team members’ achievement of individual goals.
  • Manage the performance of team members through goal setting, coaching and counseling. 
  • Organize and prioritize work to assure that department functions are performed accurately and timely. 
  • Foster team building, collaboration and cooperation among all Billing personnel. 
  • Provide training and guidance to build skills and assure procedures are followed 
  • Approval of timecards for all staff within Billings and Collections. 
  • Prepare client invoices and produce invoice detail reporting as assigned for complex clients 
  • Analyze, resolve and proactively identify and resolve billing questions, issues and concerns from clients  
  • Serve as the backup for the Billing and Collections Manager 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Adept at inspiring, influencing, and motivating individuals and groups to achieve results. 
  • Results-oriented, able to prioritize, and achieve results through others. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with global leaders and operational teams and build effective working relationships both internally, and outside of the firm. 
  • Demonstrated competency with billing and collections concepts. 
  • Customer service attitude, both with respect to external clients as well as internal clients. 
  • Ability to be gently assertive with respect to following up on outstanding information requests. 
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary. 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
  • Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
  • Must be able to prioritized, schedule and complete testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules.
  • A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
  • Hours may exceed 40 hours per week.
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
