Your opportunity
 
Your role and responsibilities will include, but not limited to
 
  • Provide all design and detailed documentation required to service the assigned project and enable the construction team to carry out it’s tender and construction activities.
  • Provide day to day management of the project office, delegating work to staff and coordinating the documentation to ensure the timely delivery of documentation packages to Construction. Take responsibility for the administrative processes inherent in the issuing and receipt of documents.
  • Actively participate and interact with other Scentre Group business divisional stakeholders during the course of the project and to facilitate the best practice delivery of the overall completed project objectives, including optimizing the financial return quality environment/ facilities and functional operation, etc.
  • In co-operation with the Project Design Manager plan, structure, build up and maintain the architectural project design team and consultant design teams to ensure and underpin the project design groups ability to meet it’s responsibilities and expectations for the assigned project.
  • With the Project Design Manager assist in the management of all Scentre Group Design obligations and responsibilities on an assigned Project in accordance with Scentre Group policies and procedures. Manage all Project staff to ensure the team is disciplined and achieves the best possible outcome for the Project and Scentre Group.
  • Take responsibility for design and/or services coordination meetings ensuring all documentation is coordinated and checked.

  • Shopping centre experience is ideal or experience working on large scale commercial projects
  • Previous experience in a similar role managing medium to large scale projects
  • Experience of putting programs and schedules together
  • Experience managing external design consultants
  • Previous experience managing a sizeable team
