POSITION TITLE: Retail Runner Supervisor

 

REPORTS TO: Retail Manager

 

BUSINESS/COMPANY/DEPARTMENT: GHO Retail

 

LOCATION: SLCW

 

Responsible for the retail runners, resolving problems, generating quarterly metrics, training, and ensuring the seamless functionality & support of retail. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

        Manage & lead a team of 15+ runners.

        Training new employees.

        Coaching employees with work and performance related topics.

        Ensure the procurement and fulfillment of large group orders.

        Act as warehouse point of contact for group sales team.

        Maintain SLA of customer carts & orders.

        Ensure retail put-away items are processed efficiently & accurately.

        Ensure the procurement and fulfillment of large group orders.

        Fulfill suspended items in retail on a daily basis.

        Manage and maintain the picking of retail displays & GHO clinic carts.

        Ensure the sorting, shipping & packaging of employee orders to a high level of accuracy.

        Assessing & adjusting labor to best meet the needs of the department.

        Fixing problems that occur to ensure inventory & shipping accuracy.

        Resolving inventory issues by adjusting inventory.

        Communicate with other departments about orders needing extra attention.

        Develop & generate SOP’s to further improve the retail process. 

        Generate quarterly credos & metrics for RR team. 

        Maintain a clean workspace.

        Communicate efficiently via MS Outlook email.

        Operate a pallet jack.

        Complete and maintain forklift certification training.

        Accommodate for attrition by back-filling lost labor.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

        Prefer high school diploma or equivalency

        6 months experience in fulfillment center

        6 months experience as a Merchandise Processor

        Verbal and written comprehension of the English language required

        Basic math skills required

        Must be able to apply established procedures and follow oral/written instructions

        Must be able to work independently without direct supervision and organize/prioritize workload to ensure completion of all tasks within established time frames

        Must be able to deal with the pressure of meeting production schedules

        Computer skills, including familiarity with the internet and email required
