Facilities Technician III
Description
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the content of all internal SOPs and ensure department compliance with training requirements.
- Ensure all critical plant utilities comply with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Enable the system's daily operations and be responsible for ensuring the consistent application of the established policies and procedures across the entire site footprint.
- Responsible for operation and overall reliability of the facility and critical utilities.
- Provide technical engineering support for the supervision of facilities and critical utility improvement projects and cGMP and GxP compliance assessment and verification
- Perform in-house preventative maintenance for the facility.
- Support all contractors and vendors as a liaison while on-site. Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies, including the FDA, CalOSHA, FDB, EPA, local fire department, city, etc.
Required Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent. Coursework or specialized training in plumbing/electrical/mechanical systems.
Required Work Experience:
- 8 years of facility maintenance or equivalent experience in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of Critical Utility Systems in the life science industry. Including HVAC, Gases, Liquid Nitrogen, Tower Water, Heating Hot Water, Refrigerated Water, Etc.
