The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the full accounts payable cycle including but not limited to: Recording of vendor invoices, obtaining appropriate tax documentation, preparing payments, reconciling cash and recording and reconciling payroll. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Codes invoices, vouchers, expense reports in accordance with the established Chart of Accounts

Prepares payments, wire transfers and ACH transactions as per the approved payment schedules.

Gather appropriate documentation for transaction, maintain filing systems for review and audit purposes


Reconciliation of cash, credit and loan balances, as well as Accounts payable ledgers to Accounts Receivable ledgers of affiliated companies and investigate and resolve discrepancies

Basic Qualifications & Requirements:

Required Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED 

Preferred Education:

  • Associates Degree
Required Work Experience: 
  • 1-3 years experience in Account Payable
  • Experience with high volume data entry
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail a Must
Preferred Knowledge:
  • QuickBooks or Equivalent Account software.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks
  • Able to work independently.
  • Multi Entity Experience
