Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Technician has experience handling inventory and tracking of all cannabis (cannabis experience preferred). This individual is someone who has strong analytical skills to assess data, facts and figures as well as computer-based skills.  They will be organized, work well under pressure and a process driven problem solver who understands the importance of regulatory compliance. This position is also accountable for the preparation of outgoing deliveries and will coordinate with management and delivery personnel to ensure timely, and accurate packaging and shipment to our customers.


  • Inventory Technician is responsible for activities related to the entry, tracking, and reporting of cannabis products to ensure compliance to state regulations
  • This role possesses a high attention to detail, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to proactively seek out and develop creative solutions to challenges as they arise
  • This position reports to the Inventory Manager
  • Assist the Inventory Manager in maintaining Leaf Logics compliance specifically regarding operations processes, including but not limited to:
  • Tracking of plants from seed/clone to harvest phase
  • Creation of batches
  • Physical inventory of usable goods
  • Maintaining​ ​a​ ​clean​ ​and​ ​organized​ vault area that allows for unencumbered access to product, sinks, cleaning areas, and inventory desk
  • Performing such other duties as needed by the Inventory Manager to maintain compliant processes


  • An individual who has strong analytical skills to assess data, facts and figures as well as computer-based skills
  • A process driven problem solver who understands the importance of regulatory compliance, with excellent organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse group
  • Reliable, professional, and ethical
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs. be able to stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the NJ CRC
  • Able to pass all background checks as mandated by the NJ CRC.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.


  • Associates degree or greater in logistics or operations.
  • Experience working with an inventory tracking system such as BioTrack, MJ Freeway, METRC, etc.
  • Previous employment in inventory management preferred
  • Ability to work independently.


  • The person in this position may be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree.
  • Must be able to work on weekends or alternate shifts


  • Frequently operates computer and other standard office equipment such as printers, phones, and photocopy machine.
  • The person in this position must be able to observe, inspect and detect inaccuracies on reports or with physical inventory.
  • Must be able to move and transport products such as totes/boxes up to 50 lbs. throughout the facility.
