Job Summary
This role will report to the Logistics Manager as part of the AYR Wellness Logistics Team. They will ensure that all deliveries are handled accurately and in accordance with company and state regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management, invoicing, manifesting, shipping, and systems in cannabis – including Leaflogix, METRC, and Leaf Link.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring a Safe working environment by performing Safety Audits and Safety Corrective Actions as required.
- Responsible for the adherence and management of the AYR Operating System (AOS) within the assigned area.
- Responsible for the scheduling of labor and management of daily adjustments to ensure production requirements are achieved.
- Responsible for hourly/daily auditing of their area of responsibility to ensure the team has all the proper tools necessary to be successful
- Receives wholesale and retail orders from the sales team through Leaf Link.
- Responsible for the creation of transfer manifests in Leaflogix and METRC.
- Supervises team of drivers who will prepare and deliver cannabis products.
- Reports and investigates inventory discrepancies and other package related issues, relaying information to the necessary departments.
- Reconciles seed-to-sale software to ensure that available inventory and transfers are accurate.
- Ensures that all products are manifested and shipped according to the state regulations.
- Provides the retail team with itineraries and estimated arrival times for the upcoming day’s transfers using route optimization software.
- Builds out the weekly delivery schedule and updating routes based off retail and wholesale requests.
- Files all manifest paperwork physically and virtually in accordance with the state regulations.
- Tracks delivery mistakes to identify patterns and implement new processes to eliminate preventable incidents.
- Recommend process changes to increase the departments efficiency while reducing the likelihood of errors.
- Track Logistics KPIs and reformat the data into a visually appealing form.
- Track monthly shipped units comparing the production plan to retail and wholesale.

Qualifications

- Must be 21 years of age or older with 5 years of satisfactory driving history (driving/insurance requirements)
- Able to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies
Education
High school diploma/GED required
Experience
2 years Inventory/Logistics Experience

Working conditions
You may be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals, and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree. Moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical requirements
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Operating a delivery vehicle and delivering packages between facilities when necessary.

- Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
