Ayla Networks is looking to hire a full time Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in the Milpitas CA office to support and contribute to Ayla’s global growth strategy. This new hire will be part of the Marketing team reporting to the Global Vice President Marketing, and will focus primarily on the North American region. 

What will you be doing  

  • Inbound lead qualification (40%) – qualify marketing generated inbound leads for need, budget and timing.  
  • Outbound prospecting (40%) – conduct outreach to targeted account contact lists to generate new sales opportunities 
  • Account based marketing (20%) – conduct research into companies in specific market segments/verticals related to IoT, identify key target personas and generate SQLs
  • Assisting the sales team with special projects and events-related coordination 

Qualifications 

  • 2-3 years of experience in SDR/BDR roles, ideally for enterprise technology (software) companies. Prior IoT experience is a big plus. 
  • Good written and spoken communication skills to be able to interact effectively with executive level sales prospects
  • High energy, self-driven, process-oriented and persistent
  • Resourceful and out of box thinker in terms of conducting research and identifying sales opportunities
  • College degree (BS/BA) in business, humanities or social sciences
