You’ll be responsible for the services that make our business work: managing users, devices and data, in our production and development environments. As new services are added, you’ll be part of the team that builds out the new pieces of our cloud-based infrastructure to support them.

What You Will Be Doing

• Implementing highly scalable and reliable systems for millions of devices and users
• Be exposed to new technologies such as micro-service architectures, No-sql, hadoop, data pipelines
• Growing your skill-set, working along side our Senior DevOps Engineers as they architect new solutions
• Play a significant role and make an impact on the company’s success

 
You Will Have:

• 5+ years of experience in running server operation environments including Linux Administration, User and Machine Admin, Packaging technologies
• Solid scripting skills
• SQL and non-SQL database administration skills
• An understanding of basic networking technology and concepts: TCP/UDP, SSL, HTTP, NAT
• An understanding and passion for developing highly secure and highly available systems
• Understanding of networking security protections, such as firewalls, sub-net design, routing are required
• Working knowledge of AWS security features required
• Desired - AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate, AWS Certified
• DevOps Engineer Professional, or AWS Certified Security Specialty
• A Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, System Administration or equivalent

 
Desired Skills and Experience:

• Amazon Web Services, especially Virtual Machine setup
• Solid scripting skills
• Ruby on Rails and/or Java & Jetty
• Monitoring (nagios, Zabbix, etc.)
• Jenkins/Hudson
• Cassandra
