The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Associate Director, IT Commercial Business Partner to support our Commercial teams as we advance our transformation into a leading commercial organization in RNA therapeutics. This role will serve as the primary liaison between IT and Commercial, with a strong focus on Market Access. The successful candidate will ensure that technology solutions are effectively aligned with business objectives, driving operational excellence and enabling data-driven decision-making. This position will play a pivotal role in optimizing patient access initiatives and enhancing payer and provider engagement through innovative digital capabilities.
Key responsibilities include collaborating cross-functionally to implement technology-driven solutions that streamline patient support, improve therapy access, and enhance digital engagement across the patient journey. This position requires a deep understanding of Commercial and Market Access dynamics and the ability to translate business needs into scalable and effective technology solutions.
What You Will Contribute
- Act as the IT lead and trusted advisor for the Commercial organization, understanding business challenges and identifying opportunities to leverage technology, AI and automation.
- Lead IT efforts to support the in-house Patient Services hub operations, ensuring the development and deployment of fit-for-purpose solutions to manage patient enrollment, benefits verification, prior authorizations, copay assistance, and case management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement omnichannel communication tools and automation that improve engagement, reduce friction, and accelerate time to therapy.
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and digital tools to enhance Market Access capabilities, including formulary tracking, contract management, and copay program analytics.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of Market Access data with enterprise systems, optimizing data flows and reporting capabilities.
- Partner with technology vendors to evaluate and implement solutions that support Market Access goals, ensuring scalability and long-term value.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and process efficiency within Market Access.
What We Seek
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of how digital strategies can transform business operations.
- 8+ years experience in in IT Business Partnering, IT Strategy, or IT Program Management, with a strong focus on Patient Services, HUB operations, or Market Access in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Proven track record of leading IT initiatives that enhance patient and HCP engagement through digital tools, automation, and data-driven insights.
- Experience with data analytics, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), business intelligence tools, and integrations between commercial and Market Access platforms.
- Proven track record as a relationship manager/consultant within a global organization providing strategic planning, business process management, technical direction, customer engagement, and communication plans. This includes leading business process re-engineering initiatives and leading the selection, deployment, and adoption of new technologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success driving organizational change management in the adoption of new capabilities business processes
- Excellent communication (oral and written), teamwork, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
What We Will Provide To You
- The base salary range for this role is $185,250 to $204,750. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors.
