The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Executive Director of Patient Services to build and develop an industry-leading patient services organization. This executive role will report to the Head of Market Access and will oversee the strategy and execution of this critical capacity. The Executive Director will be a part of the US Market Access leadership team and will work cross-functionally with other team members including Sales, Marketing, Advocacy, Compliance, and all Market Access functions.
 
What You Will Contribute
  • Lead the development and execution of patient services strategies that support the successful launch and ongoing management of all Avidity products.
  • Work cross-functionally to build state of the are patient service case management systems
  • Create branding for Avidity Patient Services
  • Build internal high-touch patient services programs designed to support each rare disease population.
  • Oversee the ongoing development of patient financial support programs.
  • Partner and integrate new technologies and digital services to enhance program objectives.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to enhance external stakeholder satisfaction, business efficiency and effectiveness and inform decision-making to optimize patient service offerings.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams and field leadership to drive clear and consistent communication for patients, caregivers, HCPs, payors, and all field teams.
What We Seek
  • 18+ years of biopharma commercial experience with 8+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, healthcare management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience building Patient Services programs for launch with heavy focus on rare disease.
  • Proven track record working in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to patient services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in utilizing data to drive decision-making and program improvements.
What We Will Provide To You
  • The base salary range for this role is $296,400 - $327,600. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors.
