The Opportunity

We are seeking a Manager, Demand Planning who can contribute your expertise to optimizing our supply chain. You will be instrumental in developing and analyzing demand forecasts, identifying changes in clinical and commercial forecasts, succinctly summarize changes and categorize these reasons, formulating demand analysis to supply team, as well as participating in the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process. This individual will lead the monthly demand planning reviews, support the S&OP process, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in demand planning, statistical analysis, and process improvement to contribute to organizational success.

What You Will Contribute

  • Demand Forecasting: Analyze and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical modeling, historical data analysis, and cross-functional input.
  • Inventory Management: Understand inventory levels to ensuring timely product availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Actively participate in the S&OP process, facilitating communication and collaboration between commercial teams, supply chain, and finance to align demand and supply plans.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze demand patterns, identify trends, and generate insightful reports to support decision-making and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including CMC, logistics, commercial, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service levels, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • System and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes and systems and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

 What We Seek

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in leading supply chain demand planning models, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills, experienced with building forecasting modelling tools preferred.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment.
  • Expertise with forecast modeling and report generation in Excel and visual basic know-how.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet, or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

What We Will Provide to You:

  • The base salary range for this role is $120,000 138,000. The final compensation will be commensurate with relevant experience, skillset, internal equity, and market factors.
