Description
The Intern, Contract Administration supports the Legal Department with the following: procurement, or business teams by assisting with contract tagging, uploading & downloading files to Contract Works, organizing documentation, and managing databases. Key responsibilities include tracking contract compliance, facilitating approval workflows, and performing administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in corporate, vendor, or project contracts, supports the team in tracking contract milestones, deliverables, and preparing for compliance audits, along with other various administrative duties or projects assigned by Legal Counsel or the Contracts Manager.
We're thrilled to provide a 10-week paid internship at our facility in Tustin, CA. As an intern, you'll dive deep into our team culture, take on significant projects, and play a vital role in our team's dynamics. This temporary, 40-hour per week office position is designed to offer you a wealth of experience and the chance to connect with professionals in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Legal Department in organizing, tagging, and maintaining contract records across procurement, business, and project teams.
- Upload and download agreements, amendments, and supporting documentation within ContractWorks and other contract management systems.
- Maintain accurate and well organized electronic contract files, ensuring all documentation is complete and properly categorized.
- Track contract milestones, deliverables, expiration dates, and compliance requirements; flag upcoming deadlines to the Contracts Manager or Legal Counsel.
- Support approval and signature workflows by coordinating with internal stakeholders and routing documents for timely review.
- Monitor contract compliance activities and assist in preparing materials for internal or external compliance audits.
- Update and manage contract-related databases, trackers, and reporting tools to support visibility and accuracy across the Legal team.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as document formatting, version control, filing, and data entry.
- Support adhoc projects assigned by Legal Counsel or the Contracts Manager, including process improvements, reporting requests, and system enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize, track, and manage large volumes of documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new software tools or contract management platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Interest in corporate contracts, legal operations, compliance, or procurement is preferred but not required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a temporary position operating Monday through Friday, 5x8 (5 days x 8 hours) schedule.
Starting from Monday, June 15th through Friday, August 21st

Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $20.00 per hour.
