Your Role: 
This high-impact leadership role oversees the full supply chain strategy and execution for CDMO operations. The Sr. Director, Supply Chain ensures reliable, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of materials, products, and services to clients. The scope includes procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics, and client interfaces, all aligned with business goals and regulatory standards. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including master services agreements, supply agreements, confidentiality agreements and vendor contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute global supply chain strategy, including third-party warehouse integration.
  • Drive continuous improvement for scalability, cost efficiency, lead time, and service levels.
  • Ensure GMP compliance across supply chain and warehouse operations (U.S. and global standards).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Business Development, and Finance to resolve challenges and align priorities.
🔹 Supply Chain Operations
  • Oversee demand, production, and material planning, procurement, and logistics for clinical and commercial manufacturing.
  • Optimize inventory and warehousing for control, traceability, and compliance.
  • Proactively mitigate risks and delays to ensure supply continuity for high-priority customer programs.
🔹 Procurement
  • Lead the procurement function with a focus on strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures that ensure compliance, transparency, and efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure supply reliability.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality, delivery, and service standards are met.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast material needs and align procurement strategies with operational goals.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers to support innovation, scalability, and risk mitigation.
🔹 Client Interface & Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary supply chain contact for key customers, ensuring transparency and responsiveness.
  • Support tech transfers, program launches, and new product introductions with supply chain readiness plans.
🔹 Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure full compliance with cGMP, GDP, and other applicable regulatory standards.
  • Develop risk management frameworks across sourcing, planning, and logistics to support business continuity.
🔹 Leadership & Team Development
  • Build and mentor a high-performing supply chain team focused on ownership, agility, and excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Minimum Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 10–15 years of progressive supply chain experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles within CDMO, pharma, or biotech.
  • Deep knowledge of cGMP regulations, cold chain logistics, clinical/commercial supply planning, and regulated material flows.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and manage complex supply chains in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday.  The employee must also, if instructed, have the ability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary. 
Compensation:  
We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.  
 
The compensation range for this role is $197,500 to $250,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
