We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Sr. Product Manager, Returns for Small Business to join our team.

What you'll do....

  • Work with customers to understand their business needs
  • Become an expert in your product's space, able to share knowledge about the market, the competitive landscape, and how your product will transform your customers' daily work
  • Articulate a clear and compelling product strategy that synthesizes customer needs, market dynamics, and business requirements to deliver great products with world-class customer experiences
  • Create prioritized roadmaps that deliver customer value by identifying new products or features that solve customer problems and automate manual processes
  • Define metrics that measure the success of products, and use these metrics to drive business outcomes
  • Use data to justify roadmap priorities and tradeoffs, and as a key communication tool when developing a shared vision with internal stakeholders
  • Develop clear, detailed, and actionable product requirements in partnership with Design / UX for engineering to execute against
  • Write epic tickets, groom the backlog, and plan sprints as your product's owner to ensure engineering execution aligns with your roadmap
  • Partner with engineering to establish delivery timelines that balance getting to market quickly with predictability and quality
  • Build alignment and collaborate effectively with other product marketing, product managers, customer success teams, operations, business development, and sales to ensure effective customer-facing launches and a great end-to-end customer experience
  • Foster relationships with key decision makers across the organization

What you'll bring to the role....

  • 8 years experience as a product manager working on multiple products with different challenges and opportunities
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (accounting, business, data science, or computer science); MBA desirable
  • Experience working on SaaS products with customer bases that span small business owners, SMB, and enterprise
  • Hands-on experience using major analytics and data tools; experience with SQL is a plus
  • Experience building custom reports (and queries) to solve complex reporting requirements
  • Have worked on products at multiple lifecycle stages, and with different kinds of challenges and opportunities
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, the Product Owner role, and commonly used tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with design teams on UI/UX
  • Ability to deliver product requirements in written and visual form that are appropriate for the project at hand
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player who is able to drive results through influence
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with tax automation products, ERP, eCommerce, and other financial accounting systems
  • Familiarity with accounting and transaction tax compliance concepts (i.e., sales tax returns)
  • Tax reporting/financial reporting background
