Management Accountant R3072
Due to explosive growth in the EMEA region we are looking for an ambitious qualified accountant to join the team in a Management accounting role. This is a great role for someone with energy and ambition looking to take the next step in their career. The role will support activity across several of the EMEA finance teams to get an excellent education in how a US multinational operates. As a SAAS company, revenue recognition and subscription billing is key to our financial processes so this role will take responsibility for the revenue line for one of the business units. In addition, this role will work closely with the core accounting team to deliver month end, process improvement and control compliance.
Lead month end close on revenue for one of our product lines. Use judgement to apply ASC606 to reported revenue and work with the sales team to ensure any new or unusual revenue is correctly classified and reported.
Participate in process improvement and automation to build a robust, scalable finance function in EMEA.
Take ownership of specific areas of month end close.
Perform and document SOX internal control procedures.
Prepare quarterly review and year-end audit schedules, interact and provide details for testing to internal and external auditors.
Requires at least 5 years of related experience.
Recognized accounting qualification (ACA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA).
Strong analytical skills and aptitude to analyse and summarize large amounts of data from multiple systems to provide insight into business issues.
Able to work under own initiative while keeping leadership appropriately informed.
Track record of embracing change and dealing with ambiguity.
Able to manage stakeholders and communicate complex issue clearly to non-finance audiences.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and activities to meet tight deadlines.
Previous exposure to US GAAP/ the accounting requirements of a US listed company.
Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau or SQL would be an advantage.
Big 4 audit experience would be an advantage.
Other European Languages would be an advantage.
