Account Development Representative A178
This is your opportunity to launch your sales career with a path to full cycle SaaS sales! Avalara is looking for fiercely competitive Account Development Representatives to identify net new prospects through outbound prospecting. The primary role is to prospect net new targets over the phone and set up discovery calls and meeting for Partner Sales Managers to help achieve revenue targets. Account Development Representatives (ADRs) are tasked with identifying high value opportunities and research lists of companies to target, and to develop email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities. This position has advancement potential within the sales organization.
Outbound focused account development work
Tool Proficiency (SFDC, SalesLoft, Microsoft Office, GoToMeeting, Bluejeans webinars).
Source qualified opportunities and revenue.
Hit weekly productivity targets.
Generate 30 calls per day (using SalesLoft system and drip email program).
Identify and effectively follow up with potential opportunities
Use succinct verbal and written messaging to uncover prospect needs and objectives, and gain buy-in for moving prospects into the sales process.
Log all activities to CRM (SFDC) and maintain clean data environment
Strategize with sales and marketing teams to create new methods to hit aggressive growth targets and contribute to high energy team environment
Develop required product knowledge, industry knowledge, sales excellency, and business acumen to transition to a higher-level sales role in 12-24 months
Requirements include related degree (or equivalent experience) plus at least 5 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related area
A desire to sell SaaS software, alongside Sales Tax Industry Knowledge.
Presenting/conducting yourself with a high level of professionalism and accountability.
You should be fearless, strongly self-motivated, goal oriented, methodical, tenacious, and creative.
Ability to adapt quickly, multi-task and create structure in a fast-paced and fluid environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce.com (CRM)
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
