Will support the VP (Vice President) New Initiatives to help conceptualize and drive cross-organizational initiatives to drive current and future bookings impact for our international market.

Job Duties:


  • Translate impact into customer needs, target segments, geo, and solution coverage.

  • Partner with VP - Solutions, Compliance, Sales and Partner stakeholders to develop point-of-view on offering.

  • Orchestrate cross-functional efforts across Product, Compliance, Sales, Partner, Marketing and FP&A a to ensure timely monetization

  • Develop strategies and deliverables for direct sales, online bookings, and partner impact.

  • Identify ecosystem impact, new partner opportunities for partner team execution.


  • Provide input into marketing priorities to drive bookings impact.

  • Assess and understand key market shifts (e.g., e-commerce growth) and impact on bookings.

  • Develop Storyboard on customer business process to identify gaps, opportunities, and adjacencies.

  • Partner with VP - Solutions, Compliance, Sales and Partner stakeholders to develop point-of-view on customer needs.

  • Identify ecosystem impact, new partner opportunities for partner team execution.


  • Develop deep view on new market compliance needs spanning core AVLR offerings and Domestic Compliance needs.

  • Qualifications:


  • Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree.

  • Experience as a strategic thought-leader and able to influence across functions such as business development, marketing, product management, general management, and sales.


  • Effective relationship-building, facilitation, and communication skills.

  • You will be building commercial models, so the ability to work with Excel modelling is a must have.

  • To be able to understand the complex intersection within the compliance industries would be highly desirable.

  • Experience in financial technology (FinTech) is essential, as is the ability to grasp complex products and articulate confidently to customers, internally and externally, and able to understand core Accounting & Finance principles

  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.


  • Superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written, email).

  • Possess unique analytical skills, project management and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Stellar ability to influence others in a matrix environment, gaining buy-in at multiple levels across the organization.

  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work against aggressive schedules.

  • Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who can work independently.

  • Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience in business development or sales would be desirable.

  • An understanding of Tax technology would be preferred.
