We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Data Engineer Marketing - Prospect/Customer Database to join our team.

You’ll collaborate with the Marketing team to expand and optimize our data pipeline infrastructure for customers and prospects. 

You have experience building and maintaining the tools and workflow necessary for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.

You’ll support our data analysts and data scientists on different initiatives and work to maintain optimal data delivery for new and ongoing projects. 

You must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products as we build audience segments for marketing programs and campaigns.

You’ll need to implement data security, encryption and masking policies across various data sets and data sources. 

You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with both local & remote teammates.

You have knowledge of best practices for the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration/deployments, testing and operations

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years combined in data engineering, distributed architecture, high availability production systems, and deployment experience
  • Advanced SQL with big data modeling skills
  • Experience pulling data from a number of different APIs
  • Experience managing efforts in distributed systems and large scale data sources
  • Proven ability to combine business acumen, technical acumen and process expertise to define client engagement and program execution
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
