Manager, Business Continuity Mgmt

Job Duties

Leads and directs the implementation of business continuity strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices

Leads the development of business continuity lifecycle activities including periodic impact assessments, business continuity plans development, tests and exercises, and training & awareness initiatives

Communicates value-added recommendations to leadership and promotes the value of business resilience programs (e.g., crisis management and business continuity) to all business functions globally

Provides thought leadership in initiating improvements to mitigate risk and developing partnerships to implement changes

Facilitate interdependency mapping and stress testing of key company processes, products, and payment systems

Create strong formal and informal networks with cross-functional partners to drive engagement and program sustainability

Benchmark industry best practices and drive continuous improvement for the BC program

Oversees domestic and international Emergency Notification Systems, crisis communications, and maintenance of emergency resources

Annually reviews and updates crisis management plans and tools.

Establishes and monitors performance metrics to determine the effectiveness of the program


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 8+ years equivalent experience leading BC efforts in a multinational organization

8+ years of risk management experience in FinTech or SaaS environment

5+ years managerial experience

DRII Certified Business Continuity Professional, CBCP or Master Certified Business Continuity Professional (MBCP)

Understanding of risk concepts, including risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and measurement

Skilled in business risk analysis and making technical trade-offs between short versus long-term security and business goals

Self-starter, self-motivated, pro-active, and able to handle concurrent activities

Experience working cross-functionally and globally, managing complex programs

Strong organizational and planning skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience building and leading a business continuity organization in a complex, cross-functional global company

Knowledgeable of global regulatory environments, requirements, issues, and trends as they relate to business continuity

Experience with business continuity requirements and issues

Experience aggregating data to build reports and dashboards using tools such as Power B.I.

High-level understanding of cloud platforms (AWS)

Proven ability to take ownership and deliver results in highly ambiguous environments

Experience with Service Now BCM
