As a  Senior Product Manager, you will lead our product strategy for our end-to-end onboarding experience and our logged-in home page. As part of the Global UI product team, you will join us on our mission to create a simplified and unified experience for all Avalara customers. You'll be responsible for improving how customers onboard so they feel guided through the process and feel confident they're meeting their business's compliance needs.

What you'll do

• Work with internal and external customers to acquire a deep understanding of their requirements and business needs

• Partner with UX, content and engineering teams throughout the entire Agile development process

• Conduct customer interviews and research to inform product decisions

• Partner with our Global UI product managers to take our vision, improve it, and make it a reality

• Research and write clear product requirements, including user stories and user journey maps

• Ensure committed product delivery timelines are achieved across the organization, including but not limited to engineering

• Be rigorously data driven in defining solutions and measuring outcome

• Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Business Development and other product teams to drive adoption and process enhancements

• Champion the customer and customer value

What you'll bring to the role

• 5+ years experience as a product manager

• 8+ years of overall work experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering,

• Experience with UI-heavy products and frontend development teams

• Design sense and customer empathy; you advocate for the customer and look for ways to simplify the complex

• Experience working for leading SaaS companies with a diverse customer base spanning small business owners, SMB, and enterprise

• Track record of leading products from inception through launch, in a complex cross domain environment

• Ability to drive results through influence
