Leadership Development Coordinator

The Leadership Development Coordinator will support the development and delivery of onboarding and development programs supporting both the Talent Acquisitions and Leadership Development teams.  This role will serve as a point of contact for company-wide onboarding, day one new hire experience and provide system support to the build out of automated pre-boarding and onboarding experiences across Avalara.

This role requires and understanding of the breadth and depth of program offerings and a willingness to run point on scheduling, coordination, logistics and communications planning for multiple initiatives.  This role requires a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, navigating tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.

As a Leadership Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • System administration and logistics for enboarder when used for onboarding and learning initiatives across Talent & LD teams
  • Own and manage all onboarding materials and resources, in coordination with the LD Learning Specialist, LD Program Manager & TA Manager
  • Administer and track vendor contracts, purchase orders and receivables in keeping with internal service level agreements 
  • Liaise with other departments/teams to understand pipeline of requests and potential projects and plan accordingly
  • Support the build & maintenance of team resources including (but not limited to) LMS, Wiki pages, frameworks, skills matrix, training resources.
  • Compile data on spend/expenditures against department budget
  • Track and report on key metrics and data that demonstrates the impact of programs and initiatives
  • Support L&D team with training design and development as required
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Summary Skills/ Experience 

  • Prior experience in a coordination or administrative capacity within HR, Learning, Talent or related function
  • Digital literacy with proficiency in Microsoft office suite, google, Confluence, Jira, LMS and engagement platforms
  • Experience with Enboarder, Mtrain, SkillJar, LinkedIn Learning and Workday preferred
  • High standard of working with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proactive, self-starter with the initiative to suggest and implement improvements
  • Ability to handle and deliver on multiple priorities
  • Professional resilience in a demanding and changing environment
  • Ability to see issues and quickly take initiative to resolve them
