Sr. CAM Enablement Manager

Avalara is a high-growth SaaS org that delivers tax compliances services to businesses worldwide. Our Customer Account Management (CAM) group is a key ingredient to our continued success – driving loyalty sales for an expanding portfolio of original and acquired products and services.

Join our Customer Success Enablement team, and own CAM Enablement at Avalara. Design and deliver consistent, scalable training programs to meet full-cycle enablement needs: onboarding, continuing education, and skill optimization. Work alongside Enablement owners for Support, GoLive, Professional Services, and Customer Escalation businesses.

To succeed, you'll need to build and deliver enablement programs with excellence – in a way that scales with Avalara through geographic and product expansion.

In this role, coordinate heavily with the Sales Enablement group to share responsibilities strategically to meet comprehensive needs of acquisition and loyalty sellers.

Who you are

You're passionate about providing excellent service and driving revenue. You know and appreciate how account managers are motivated, and how to help them become highly effective producers and leaders. You have sold SaaS solutions and have managed a successful over-quota team of SaaS sellers. You're ready to lead Enablement for an entire function.

You'll evaluate the existing CAM new hire program and take it to the next level - decreasing ramp times, while ensuring our new reps relationship-manage with our culture, values, and use cases top of mind.

You're able to build and operate complex information systems - accounting for announcements, reference materials, and online and classroom learning.

You're excited about the opportunity to optimize skills and productivity for CAMs – relying on data to drive design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement for your programs.

You're undaunted by a broad scope and quick pace. You're comfortable collaborating with others to negotiate tradeoffs and prioritize work.

You create curriculum and content that are synergistic and impactful. Your activities and training drive comprehension and enthusiasm. The materials you provide effectively influence deals.

You're driven by metrics to ensure smart strategy and consistent evaluation of enablement activities.

What you offer

5+ years' sales enablement or sales training experience

Experience architecting, building content, and delivering training to support new hire, continuing education, and skills enhancement programs for SaaS teams

Ability to build internal networks and influence others in a matrixed environment

Experience partnering with go-to-market team to roll out education programming ahead of product introduction

Experience with Salesforce, CMS, LMS

Proven project and time management skills in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Must be a quick learner, self-starter and have the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

Manage rollout and adoption for tools

Competent presentation skills for online or classroom training delivery

Ability to travel as necessary
