Workday - Account Executive, Government
Description
An Account Executive develops and executes a strategy to achieve a set sales quota by attaining medium-to-large size and complexity clients and engagements in key industries, technologies, and/or geographies. An individual in this role is accountable for meeting a sales quota and drives all aspects of the sales process through the transition to delivery.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve set quotas
• Drives sales including but not limited to proposals, presentations, work estimates, and Statement of Work (SOW) writing
• Delivers clear, persuasive sales pitches to potential clients
• Leads the development and execution of strategies to highlight Avaap's relevant solutions, methodologies, and expertise, including industry collateral and publications, and public speaking engagements
• Ensures the Delivery team is set up for success during the transition from sales to delivery
• Maintains primary responsibility for managing relationships and expanding Avaap's presence within a portfolio of accounts
• Accurately tracks opportunities and sales stage progress in NetSuite
• Leads the development and execution of strategies to highlight Avaap's relevant solutions, methodologies, and expertise, including industry collateral and publications, and public speaking engagements
• Completes other related responsibilities as assigned based on client or business needs
Desired Experiences and Skills
• Academic studies or equivalent work experience related to Sales or similar discipline
• Demonstrated measurable sales success in one or more of Avaap’s practice areas
• Broad knowledge of Avaap offerings and services with deep knowledge of aligned Business Unit offerings and services
• Aptitude to learn and apply skills from across the practice domains to the selling experience
• Prior experience driving sales including but not limited to proposals, presentations, work estimates, and Statement of Work (SOW) writing
• Advanced knowledge of consulting industry
• Demonstrated thought leadership and influence both inside and outside of the organization (including C-Suite, clients, and third-party business partners)
• Demonstrated examples of meeting or exceeding behavioral expectations for previous title(s) in Avaap's Competency Model
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences, both internal and external
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills consistent with consulting and/or sales uses
• Advanced experience using NetSuite and OpenAir or similar ERP/PSA/CRM and Intermediate skills in sales-specific software, tools, and/or technology
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
- Base Salary Range is $140,000 to $170,000 plus $240,000 variable compensation target is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
- During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
• Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed based on client or business requirements
• Current authorization to work in country where primary job responsibilities will be performed
