Workday - Principal Consultant, HCM - Core HCM and Recruiting
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Workday HCM Principal Consultant with expertise in Core HCM and Recruiting to join our team.
As a key member of our consulting practice, you will collaborate with clients to implement and optimize Workday HCM solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of modules within the Workday HCM platform.
- Work closely with clients to understand their HR strategies and requirements, and translate them into effective solutions within Workday.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout all phases of the implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate client stakeholders on advanced compensation best practices and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of advanced compensation modules with other Workday modules and third-party systems.
- Stay current with Workday updates and industry trends related to advanced compensation, and provide recommendations for optimization and enhancement.
Desired Experience and Skills
- Workday HCM and Recruiting certifications are REQUIRED.
- Demonstrated advanced experience in implementing and configuring Workday HCM solutions
- Additional experience with Talent, Learning, and Comp, is desired.
- Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices, including incentive compensation, merit planning, and total rewards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working directly with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
• Base Salary Range is $135,000 to $172,500 plus 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
*During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
• Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
• Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations
• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
