Workday - Senior Consultant, HCM - Core HR and Comp

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Senior Consultant with a strong background in HCM - Core HR and Compensation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through the implementation and optimization of Workday solutions, ensuring the alignment of Workday functionality with business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions and drive organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Workday HCM implementations, including Core HR and Core Compensation modules.
- Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into Workday configuration solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on Workday best practices, configuration, and optimization to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with clients to design and configure Workday processes to meet specific business needs.
- Manage project timelines, scope, and resources, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure seamless implementation and operational success.
- Train and mentor junior consultants and clients on Workday functionality and usage.
- Establish strong relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and progress.
- Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday releases, features, and industry trends to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Required Experience and Skills
- Workday implementer certification(s) in HCM and Comp REQUIRED.
- Demonstrated advanced experience in implementing and configuring Workday HCM solutions
- Additional experience and Workday implementer certifications in People Experience (PEX) is desired.
- Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices, including incentive compensation, merit planning, and total rewards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working directly with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
• Base Salary Range is $110,000 to $155,000 plus 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
*During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
• Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
• Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations
• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
