Workday - Senior Consultant, Financials (AMS)

Avaap is seeking a talented Workday Financial Accounting Senior Consultant to join our AMS team of experts and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Recruiting Functional Consultants in AMS are responsible for leading our clients through Phase X. Those applying for this role must be capable of configuring Workday Financials to meet the business requirements and design specifications of our clients. Avaap Consultants act as trusted advisors to our clients, making it our goal to build and manage our client relationships.
Desired Experience and Skills
• Experience leading AMS customers in Workday Financials post-production support, remediation, and Phase X implementations
• Proven track record of transforming business requirements into complex system configurations
• Demonstrated experience as a senior resource gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, Workday configuration and testing
• Ability to manage work, lead a workstream, and mentor junior team members
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Able to come up with improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice
• Develop project strategies and plans, and identify the methods and tools required for the project
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
• Base Salary Range is $110,000 to $152,500 plus 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
*During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
• Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
• Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations
• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
