Position Overview

Automus is seeking a Senior Director - OCM with 20+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud or another ERP / large system implementation. The role involves representing change management and training in strategic conversations with client executives, project sponsors, Steering Committee, HR and business leads, creating executive roadmaps and project plans, executing against the plans, reporting team’s progress to the client and resolving issues.

Sr. Director – OCM will manage a team of 4-8 junior and mid-level staff members executing against the client SOW. Sample deliverables include change management project planning, change readiness assessments, change impact assessments, risk tracking, developing training plans, communication plans, change champion programs and creating all Oracle training content and SOPs. Sr. Director - OCM will also help articulate solutions and recommend best practices to stakeholders. This is a very independent, highly visible client-facing role. Sr. Director - OCM will work along Automus PMO and functional consultants during design, build and test phases, and will play a key role in guiding the client during core team training, train the trainer and end user training in the final solution including go-live readiness and hyper-care support at go-live.

Essential Consulting Duties

  • Clear understanding of the implementation life cycle using Oracle Cloud or similar ERP system.
  • Understand and work with client to document key change management deliverables (change management project plan, change readiness assessments, change impact assessments, communication plans and materials, training strategy and plan, training content and SOPs).
  • Work closely with Automus functional consultants and Automus project manager to understand the key areas of change.
  • Actively contribute to established implementation methodology around RAID logs and any other methods to document risks, actions, issues, and dependencies for the overall project.
  • Prepare and present updates and other presentation materials to internal teams, client teams and executive leadership throughout the project.

Leadership Duties

  • Create and manage Change Management project plan.
  • Supervise and mentor assigned Automus training team members and assign work (training content creation, impact assessments and other tasks as needed). Track team’s tasks against the plan.
  • Lead regular Organizational Change Management (OCM) team status meetings for assigned team and actively participate in project’s regular status and/or issues meetings.
  • Act in a change lead capacity, responsible for implementing change / training and assisting in multiple Oracle Cloud modules.
  • Provide thought leadership around industry leading practices for reducing operational risk and improving efficiencies and profitability of client business.
  • Encourage teamwork and positive working relationships within the project team for all consultants and client members.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Technology.
  • 20+ years progressive experience in a consulting environment or related industry experience, preferrable implementing an ERP system.
  • 8+ years’ experience with change management for ERP implementations.
  • Project management experience.
  • Certification in change management required.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, with a can-do approach.
  • Work independently and manage multiple task assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interact effectively with team and with clients through in person meetings, chat, email, phone, and video conferencing as appropriate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication along with strong analytical skills.
  • Resolve problems in a timely and effective manner, involving project managers and executive management as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate high level computer skills and knowledge in Office 365 environment including. Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Visio, and SharePoint

Job Locations and Specifications

  • Remote from home location in the United States
  • Ability to travel nationwide up to 25% to client site – typically once a month.
