Position Overview
Automus is seeking a Project Manager responsible for leading and managing large, multi-pillar and complex Oracle Fusion Application implementation projects from initiation through hyper care. Serves as the primary point of contact to all stakeholders and communicates project risks and issues in a timely manner and coordinates with entire project team (internal and external) to achieve project objectives. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions.
Essential Job Duties
- Manage projects from start to finish, identifying critical paths and dependencies. Lead business process and systems implementation efforts.
- Ensure that the project follows Automus’ methodology and processes.
- Lead and manage a team capable of exceeding client expectations. Manage these resources to make a collaborative, innovative and efficient team.
- Create and maintain an accurate timeline of project implementation plan from initiation to hyper care including all milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure tasks are finished within milestone schedules and project budget while maintaining constant awareness of how the project is progressing.
- Manage project scope and approval of scope changes.
- Communicate and confirm scope at project inception through detailed reviews of the statement of work that initiated the project, methodology and deliverable templates.
- Keep the implementation teams of the Client and Automus informed of project status and deliverables.
- Facilitate project meetings and status reviews, documenting decisions, action items, and next steps as needed.
- Communicate with key stakeholders and manage steering committee meetings.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication.
- Ability to resolve conflicts/issues prior to escalation with an ability to tactfully escalate internally and externally when appropriate.
- Strong ability to present critical thinking, options, decision paths & impacts, and resolutions to all project team levels and users.
- Ability to creatively use people, processes, and technology to solve unique business problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with the sales and presales teams by providing domain expertise on project management processes and methodology.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and internal/external team members at all levels within the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must have a four-year degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience. A graduate degree is a plus.
- At least 7 years of Oracle Fusion ERP software implementation project management experience and 10 years of ERP consulting experience. Strong knowledge of or prior hands-on implementation experience with Oracle Cloud ERP is strongly preferred.
- Superior project planning and management skills. Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to absorb, master, and leverage emerging technologies. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work in both a team environment and independently.

- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.

- PMP certification is a plus.
- Must be able and willing to travel.
