Our opportunity: 

Join our Data Analytics and Business Intelligence team to help create high quality and reliable insights into the performance of our business. Bring your experience and collaborate closely with our team, the Data Engineering team, the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team, and others throughout our organization to improve the quality of our data. We have several informal data quality initiatives today, but this role is meant to formalize and bring cohesion to those initiatives in order to provide all stakeholders with the reliable data and reporting they need.

Location:  Remote role - ability to work within any U.S time zone

You will make an impact by being responsible for: 

  • Conducting data analysis to identify and prioritize data quality (DQ) issues
  • Systematically capturing, tracking, and reporting DQ issues
  • Documenting data lineage back to data capture to help identify DQ gaps/issues
  • Developing and testing data quality rulesets
  • Collaborating across various teams to conduct root cause analysis for DQ issues identified
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of DQ controls
  • Contributing to implementation and testing of DQ dashboards
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Collaborating with internal and external technical teams to get defects fixed

You will be a great fit if you have: 

  • 5+ years of experience working on data quality/governance/management programs with at least 2 years focused on data quality
  • Knowledge of common business processes (e.g., lead to cash) and typical artifacts from those processes (e.g., opportunities, quotes, invoices, etc.)
  • Experience in the software industry and SaaS is preferred
  • Strong technical skills to work with large volumes of data such as SQL or Python
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience using data visualization software such as Tableau
  • Experience working with data from Lead to Cash systems such as Salesforce and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, MS Dynamics, etc.)
  • Experience creating robust documentation, such as flowcharts, project plans, process maps, etc.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to discuss technical matters with technical audiences and summarize/translate technical matters for non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work autonomously while proactively communicating progress and blockers
  • Being methodical and organized. There will be many competing priorities and many different data quality issues to investigate. We will be constantly assessing business impact / ROI to ensure the most critical issues are prioritized.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a bias towards taking initiative
