Regional IT Supervisor

With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide.
The Regional IT Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the IT department within the region, ensuring that all technology systems and services are running efficiently and effectively. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals, providing technical support, and collaborating with the Regional Manager to align IT strategies with business objectives.
Position Responsibilities: |
· Team Leadership: o Supervise and mentor IT staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. o Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training to enhance team skills. · Operational Oversight: o Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. o Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems, implementing best practices for data protection. · Technical Support: o Ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. o Provide advanced technical support for complex issues escalated from the team. · Project Management: o Collaborate with the Regional Manager to plan and execute IT projects that support regional goals and initiatives. o Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. · Policy Compliance: o Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and industry regulations, including data security and privacy standards. o Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, systems, and procedures. · Budget Management: o Assist in the development and management of the regional IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. o Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve IT services and efficiency. · Collaboration and Communication: o Work closely with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. o Communicate effectively with the Regional Manager regarding IT performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. · Other duties as assigned |
Preferred Education and Experience |
Competencies: · Excellent leadership and team management abilities. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. · Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. |
Experience · Proven experience in an IT supervisory or management role, preferably in a regional or multi-site environment. · Strong background in IT support, network administration, and system management · Experience working in a plant manufacturing environment preferred |
Education · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. · Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) preferred |
Requirements |
Travel: · Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to North American Plants. |
Physical Requirements: · Ability to work in front of a computer screen 8 hours or more per day · Ability to move around in office environment as needed to complete job duties. This may involve the need to climb stairs · Ability to move around on production floor as needed to complete job duties. This may involve the need to climb stairs or ladders · Must be able to fully comply with all applicable safety requirements and policies · Ability to work in noisy environment |
