Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions. Formed in 2017 as a joint venture between Shanghai Shenda Co., Ltd., and International Automotive Components (IAC) Group, Auria is built on a 150-year transportation industry heritage.
Our product line includes highly engineered acoustical solutions for interior noise reduction, textile-based and compression-molded flooring products and other interior soft trim products, including package trays, trunk trim and wheel arch liners. Auria operates 24 manufacturing and 10 commercial, engineering and testing and tooling facilities in 10 countries and has nearly 3,900 employees worldwide. 
Indirect Buyer is responsible for developing and executing strategy to source indirect goods and services to support our business stakeholders and manufacturing locations. Perform analysis in order to select supplier and negotiate best value for the Company. Provide supplier relationship management and contract compliance management, including maximization of financial deliverables and risk mitigation.
This role is responsible for building out and executing a strategic sourcing strategy in North America for the following categories – Spare parts, Information Technology, Packaging, Services, Subcontracting, Temporary Labor, etc. This position will work closely with Manufacturing sites to deploy a strategy that will increase efficiencies, reduce cost, and develop a competitive advantage for the organization. Primary activities (including but not limited to):
Act as a primary business partner for key stakeholders in manufacturing
Category sourcing lead for assigned indirect categories
Negotiate national and regional agreements and purchases with suppliers
Manage purchase requests from the manufacturing sites via System
Prepare and execute requests for information and requests for quotes through project completion

Accountabilities
 
Develop and issue RFQs, analyzes proposals, negotiate price/delivery, lead team through a concise, objective, decision making process
Negotiate complex contracts, master agreements, software licensing agreements, professional service agreements and Statements of Work (SOWs)
Develops and implements category strategies and action plans
Drive purchasing discipline and compliance with internal stakeholders
Review and approve buy now purchase requests within assigned categories
Define cost saving opportunities, facilitate and lead sourcing projects and supplier negotiation and establish and develop supplier relationships
Proactively collaborate with business partners to lead and manage RFQ processes and contract negotiations; identify key benchmarks to measure and monitor contractual arrangements and supplier performances
Contributes to the development of policies and procedures
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues


Requirements
Education: BS/BA required
Experience:
2-years of experience in a procurement environment, preferably indirect procurement
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
English speaking and comprehension is required
Translate business issues and operational issues into functional plans
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Must be flexible, adaptable and be able to respond to shifting priorities, and quickly learn and improve new applications and processes
Must be comfortable coordinating tasks across multiple functions and NA locations.
Creative thinker, with a desire and ability to look for better ways to approach issues and situations
Excellent program management and project management skills
The candidate is required to be a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Applies Comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
