Why you matter.
AtScale is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team in our Boston office. In this role you will be a part of our sales development program giving you the tools to kick off a bright future in B2B technology sales. Your job will be to hone your skills by uncovering opportunities with prospects and customers and maximizing opportunity from inbound marketing leads. We will enable and develop your skills across technical selling, demand generation, sales operations, networking and technical acumen.

Our BDRs are tasked with researching prospective customers, developing outreach strategies, and identifying sales opportunities. You will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, use your business acumen to identify how AtScale could help their business get the most out of their data and successfully position the AtScale value proposition.

In this role, you will:
  • Conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social mediaManage top of funnel business at very large enterprise accounts
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing and Account Executives to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
  • Build the beginning of a six figure enterprise deal teamed with Account Executives
  • Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives to further assess a prospect's business and potential for working with AtScale
  • Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
  • Earn a real MBA! You'll learn from hands-on experience how to build a business as opposed to reading about it in a case study

You must have:
  • Track record of high achievement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
