Apprentice Training New Zealand (ATNZ) are looking for mechanically minded individuals wanting to start a maintenance apprenticeship based in Wiri.
Maintenance engineers maintain machinery so it is reliable on the production line (usually within a manufacturing environment). Maintenance engineers typically have a planned approach to maintenance, involving computerised maintenance systems and condition monitoring, where the work may require a broad variety of engineering skills and knowledge.
The successful applicant will be employed by the ATNZ Trust and assigned to one of Australia and NZ's largest food manufacturers. Here you will get valuable on the job training while studying to become a qualified maintenance engineer.
