ATNZ has multiple apprenticeship vacancies right now within the General Engineering industry. We’re looking for mechanically minded individuals who are keen to take on this exciting opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job training while studying to become a qualified engineer.

Successful apprentices will be employed by the ATNZ Trust, the largest employer of mechanical engineering apprentices in New Zealand, and assigned to Babcock NZ Ltd – a globally recognised, leading engineering support services organisation.

You will be based at Babcock’s dockyard facility at the Devonport Naval Base. Babcock provides the Royal New Zealand Navy with complete maintenance, repair and overhaul services to their entire fleet.
