Job Description – PT Receptionist

Job Description Overview:

ASUS is searching for a part-time Receptionist (M-F 8am - 1pm) who has a passion for customer service. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with a positive energy and strong organizational skills. Under minimum supervision, the Receptionist will be responsible for being the first point of contact for guests, maintaining phones at front desk, HR announcements, and other tasks as assigned. As a Receptionist you will also be assisting in maintaining the safety program with the safety team and company events with the events committee.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

                      Welcome guests, manage sign-in logs, and direct them to their appropriate meeting rooms

                      Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, or taking messages

                      Schedule appointments, manage meeting rooms schedule, and update appointment calendars

                      Coordinate with vendors to prepare lunch for guests

                      Assist safety team with trainings/drills and maintain first aid kits

                      Organize office supply room and perform monthly inventory counts

                      Process business card orders and monthly invoices

                      Coordinate and manage attendee lists for internal events

                      Ensure front lobby is consistently in presentable condition by cleaning and organizing ornaments

                      Issue temporary badges to employees and visitors

                      Other duties assigned

 

Knowledge and Skills:

                      Obsession for providing the best customer experience

                      Medium or advance level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

                      Ability to multi-task with attention to details and a high level of accuracy

                      Ability to be pro-active and always follow through

                      Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required

                      Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

 

Qualifications:

                      High School Degree or GED

                      2 years of customer service experience

                      Knowledge of PC components a plus

 

Working Conditions:

                      Office Only: Typically works in an office environment

                      Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
