Asus Edge Computer Business Unit delivers a focused portfolio of Edge AI compute solutions across five key categories: Intelligent Edge Computers, Edge Server, AI Accelerators, Industrial Motherboards, Single Board Computers, and the Tinker Board series.
 
These platforms form the foundation for deploying high-performance, low-latency AI inference and training directly at the edge; empowering industries such as healthcare, retail, and advanced automation to process data in real time without cloud dependency.
 
We are seeking a Business Development Specialist (BDS). This position requires engaging with potential clients to showcase ASUS’s cutting-edge PC/IoT products, understanding client needs, and delivering OTS, Customized/ODM solutions that align with their business objectives, especially in Manufacture, Surveillance and Medical market and accelerate revenue growth.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
      
  • Conduct targeted cold calling, email outreach, and proactive prospecting to identify and qualify potential leads for ASUS Intelligent Edge Computers in healthcare, retail, and industrial automation sectors.
  • Support the execution of go-to-market activities, including outreach to system integrators, ISVs, and OT SIs to help expand channel partner engagement and accelerate Edge AI adoption.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Enterprises, Machine Builders, Manufacturers, and OT SIs through regular follow-ups, meetings, and ongoing communication to position ASUS Edge AI solutions effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions (e.g., showcasing NVIDIA Jetson or NPU-accelerated performance and rugged fanless designs) for clients, webinars, and industry events.
  • Gather market feedback and customer requirements to assist the Product Management and R&D teams in refining Edge AI product roadmaps and solution offerings.
  • Track and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, update CRM records, support forecasting efforts, and provide regular reports on lead generation and deal progress to help achieve team sales targets. 
Additional Support Responsibilities:
    
  • Assist in organizing participation at trade shows, conferences, and customer visits, including demo setup and on-site support.
  • Research target accounts, industry trends, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, technical support, sales) to ensure smooth lead handoff and customer onboarding.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as number of calls, qualified leads, meetings booked, and conversion rates.
Required Qualifications:
     
Years of Education  
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business degree 
Work Experience
 
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Computer hardware/or IPC related business development or account management 
  • Proven experience driving Edge AI computer channel and client development, including setting demand creation goals, coaching partners on ASUS’s edge-optimized hardware (Intelligent Edge Computers, AI Accelerators, Industrial Motherboards, SBCs), and evaluating performance against revenue and pipeline metrics.

Working Conditions:
     
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time 
  • 35%-50% Traveling is required (domestic and international)
