Return to Vendor (RTV) Specialist

The Return to Vendor (RTV) Specialist is responsible for ACI inventory control and RTV support operations. As a RTV Specialist, you will need to ensure Return to Vendor (RTV)/Return to Repair (RTR) process with our 3rd parties and vendors, develop and monitor KPI’s with our partners, check the return/repair quality, and assist with inventory audits. You will lead efforts in studying, developing, and maintaining industry standard best practices that are critical to exceed the department’s goals. You will develop and foster strategic partnerships internally and externally to help promote self-sufficient practices, increase workflow efficiency, and reduce costs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee RTV and RTR process for the US region, ensuring all business goals are met
  • Drive performance metrics, scorecards, and regular business reviews with service providers related to reverse logistics operational results
  • Execute continuous improvement programs with cross-functional partners to ensure we are building support of customer’s returns and repairs
  • Track and manage unique specifications from our various manufacture partners and internal Quality teams
  • Be accountable for all performance results and financial obligations of designated service providers
  • Monitor, identify, and manage performance and gaps across different systems to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Produce internal and external reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and information from cross functional departments
  • Assist in managing inventory control procedures and system operation procedures
  • Facilitate discussion and issue resolution between functional teams and service partners
  • Prepare presentation materials and reports for team level and management level audiences
  • Closely monitor inventory related process including shipping/receiving, return process, inventory process, and turnaround time
  • Perform inventory audits including weekly/monthly/semiyearly cycle count
  • Perform other job duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:


  • BA/BS Degree


Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in reverse logistics control and supply chain experience


Knowledge and Skills

  • Proactive and able to work well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Work well with cross functional teams
  • Strong ownership and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Visio
  • Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
  • Project management skills
  • Vendor management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Solid program management skills within a fast-paced, ambiguous, and cross-functional environment
  • Supply chain/logistics management experience
  • Ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and collaborate for efficient operational performance
  • Excellent data analysis and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin Chinese is a plus


Working Conditions:

  • Ability to travel domestically – approximately 10% travel
