Job Description Overview:
The Channel Marketing Specialist role drives winning marketing programs to increase ASUS' market share in North America. The Channel Marketing Specialist will support the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at driving sales and expanding the reach of our products through partner and distributor channels. The Channel Marketing Specialist works in coordination with the sales team to develop, drive, grow and expand sales through programs, MDF activities, joint promotions and other opportunities. This position involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners to create and implement marketing campaigns, materials, and resources that help drive business growth and strengthen partner relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns targeting channel partners to generate leads, increase brand awareness, and drive sales.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, offering regular updates on new product launches, campaigns, and promotional opportunities.
- Understand the business objectives and growth plans, build and drive marketing programs and initiatives proactively to increase ASUS business in North America.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions or webinars to educate partners on new products, marketing programs, and sales tactics.
- Ensure partners are well-equipped with knowledge and resources to effectively promote the company's products.
- Localize, customize and help develop sales/marketing tools for the channel customers.
- Execute and administer channel marketing programs; monitor, record, and analyze ROI.
- Commercial events, webinar, sales training, and MDF event support.
- Develop a keen understanding of partner funding requirements; execute approved programs and ensure compliance.
- Where appropriate and in coordination with the Account Managers, plan and host events for the channel customers.
- Conduct research to identify market trends, partner needs, and competitor activities to inform channel marketing strategies.
- Provide insights on partner performance and market opportunities to support business decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned and maintain good attendance and punctuality.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling marketing materials and effectively collaborate with partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google for Work, and Salesforce.com.
- Experience in developing and implementing merchandising solutions for both in-store and online channels.
- Understanding of the technology ecosystem and channel business; ability to translate technical features into effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Effective relationship-building and negotiation skills with the ability to engage partners and drive business outcomes.
- Strong initiative and adaptability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, result-oriented corporate environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Required Qualifications:
Years of Education
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in marketing, advertising, or related field.
Work Experience
- 2+ years of B2B marketing experience in channel marketing, product marketing, or digital marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with digital marketing, eCommerce, and/or social media marketing.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Office Only: Typically works in an office environment.
- Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
- 20% travel, domestically and to Canada.
- Must have flexibility for occasional weekend work for events.
$68,640 – $90,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
