Retail Marketing Manager
Description
- New product launches: in charge of building/improving internal process, securing and reviewing marketing content for product setups on retailer.com & e-tailer for Gaming laptops, Handheld, Premium Windows laptops, Chromebooks, Desktops/AIOs. Includes images, video content, marketing bullet points, branding, and syndicated content.
- Leads virtual and face-to-face retail product training and events with industry partners and marketing agencies. Works with training teams from retail and industry partners to train their evergreen 3rd party labor sales teams for each selling cycle; obtaining additional ASUS in-store focus to support sales.
- Leads sample quantities coordination and confirmation based on key launch dates, in alignment with US retail sales and the latest demand plan.
- SBG strategic marketing support for Gaming laptops, Handheld, Premium Windows, Chromebooks, DTs for US retailers and e-tailers. This includes digital and in-store campaigns and activations in collaboration with the US retail sales teams.
- Leads product marketing digital and in-store analysis for Gaming laptops, Handheld, Premium Windows, Chromebooks, Desktops/AIOs. Provides quick summaries after new product launches (media links, reviews, PDP reviews). Executes bi-weekly or monthly in-store analysis, including key US retailers, and provides a recap for each of these categories, analyzing ASUS competitors’ placements and ASUS brand recognition.
- Leads retail marketing analytics process and improvements to build a single source of truth for campaigns with relevant details, comprehensive data, and YoY/QoQ benchmarks. Information will be utilized to improve and optimize marketing campaigns and tactics with key retailers.
- Operates as the retail product marketing expert for the US retail partner marketing team. Acts as the main POC for product marketing projects and initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of consumer electronic products, product marketing, retail marketing (digital campaigns, analytics, and product pages), retail sales training and events, industry partnerships, budget management.
- Ability to build, foster, and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
- Strong ability to balance different tasks with tight deadlines.
- Ability to translate technology features into FABs (features, advantages, and benefits).
- Strong problem-solving skills, organized, proactive, meticulous multi-tasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related.
- 6+ years of product marketing experience.
- 6+ years of experience working with consumer electronics or at tech companies (Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart retail experience preferred).
- Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart retail and product marketing experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically to product trainings and retail events – approximately 15-20% travel.
- Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
