As a crucial part of the business process at ASUS, the Inside Sales team partners with internal teams and customers to ensure all sales demands are fulfilled. The Inside Sales Assistant responsibilities include generating reports, analyzing data, processing orders, and monitoring inventory. To be successful in the position, the ideal candidate must work effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment. You need to be a team player and highly resourceful at getting the job done.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responding to inquiries from customers for order status and product availability
  • Processing purchase orders
  • Forecasting based on customer ladder
  • Processing marketing activities and sales related procedures
  • Working with Warehouse/Accounting department to help keep accounts receivable current
  • Generating and preparing weekly reports to Sales, Account managers and customers
  • Communicating with customers routinely, product promotional activities, monitoring account inventories and sales numbers
  • Monitoring shipment schedule to ensure timely delivery
  • Generating reports when sales or supervisors need
  • Work collaboratively with:
    •  Sales, product managers, forwarders, and customers for shipments delivering to customers
    • Warehouse/Accounting department to ensure orders ship out/invoice on time and able to follow up on returning products
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education  

  • BA/BS Degree in Business or 3-4 years work experience in a corporate setting

Work Experience

  • 2 years relevant experience in administration

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Have good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically V-Lookups and pivot tables in Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin
