Traffic Signal Technician:

This position will be responsible for performing various duties of troubleshooting, maintenance and repair duties on street lights and traffic signals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Must have knowledge of signal & detection functions.
  • Level II IMSA preferred.
  • Ability to read & understand signal/ITS and lighting plans.
  • Advance training provided after 6 months of employment.
  • Competitive hourly rates w/overtime and benefit package.
  • Must be available to travel, if needed.
  • Having a CDL A is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Level II IMSA preferred.
  • Having a CDL A is preferred.
  • Must be available to travel, if needed.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Level II IMSA preferred.
  • Having a CDL A is preferred.

Pre-Screen

  • Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.

License & Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • Level II IMSA preferred.
  • Having a CDL A is preferred.

Travel Requirements:

Must be willing to travel as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • RARE (less than 10%): Sitting, Kneeling, Crawling, Color Vision, Climbing Stairs
  • OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): Stooping, Squatting, Climbing On/Off Truck, Climbing Ladders, Pushing, Reading, Lifting to 50 lbs.

  • CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): Standing, Sense of Touch, Gripping, Seeing, Reaching, range-of-motion, Depth Perception, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., Climbing
