About the Internship Program
The Asplundh Summer Internship Program is designed to accelerate your growth and open doors to future career opportunities in the utility and vegetation management industry. Over 11 weeks, you’ll gain hands-on experience, personalized mentorship, and exposure to industry best practice while contributing to projects that make a real impact.
You’ll collaborate with supportive managers and peers, participate in professional development sessions, and build connections that last well beyond the summer.
 
Role Overview
As an AP Specialist Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Corporate Disbursements team by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of expense invoice processing. You will assist with account reconciliations and contribute to month-end closing activities, helping maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures. In this role, you will identify and resolve discrepancies, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and gain hands-on experience in streamlining financial operations within a dynamic corporate environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
