Journeyperson Electrician:

Traffic Control Devices LLC. is looking for an individual with a electrical background.

Job Type: Full-Time +, Non-Exempt

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • TCD is looking for an individual with electrical background.
  • Position involves roadway lighting, ITS communication power.
  • Traffic signal construction.
  • IMSA certifications preferred.
  • Advanced training available.
  • Competitive hourly rates w/overtime and benefit package.
  • Must be available to travel, if needed.
  • Having a CDL A is a plus.

Education & Experience:

-Electrical background required.

Pre-Screen:

  • Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.

License & Certifications:

  • Driver's License Required.
  • Journeyman electrician certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting 10-60 pounds while walking on various uneven terrain.
  • Bucket weight limit capacity is 300 pounds.
  • Rare: (less than 10%): depth-perception, color-vision, crawling, pushing, pulling, seeing distance, balancing, gripping.
  • Occasional: (up to 33%): stooping, kneeling, squatting, body-twisting, sense-of-touch, manual-dexterity, lifting to 10 lbs., lifting to 50 lbs., lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., climbing stairs, carrying, lifting, range-of-motion, reaching
