Title: Environmental, Health & Safety Program Coordinator
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Maintain corporate safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure all AIG employees are informed and updated on safety standards.
- Track incident metrics and apply findings to inform the decision-making of AIG operational leaders.
- Oversee key digital systems, including SharePoint, Smartsheet, Risk Console, and Power BI, to streamline reporting, documentation, and analytics.
- Manage and optimize digital safety platforms to support data tracking, documentation, reporting, and analytics.
- Drive safety initiatives that proactively reduce workplace hazards and promote a strong, sustainable safety culture across all subsidiaries.
- Collaborate with subsidiary and regional leaders to ensure seamless program execution and alignment with organizational safety goals.
- Lead and coordinate safety orientations for new home office employees, ensuring that training is tailored to their specific roles and operational needs.
- Develop, update, and deliver (as needed) ongoing safety training programs that reflect current regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and other applicable regulations to ensure that all programs remain current and effective.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of safety activities, inspections, training sessions, and audits to support both internal and external reviews.
- Partner with subsidiary and regional leaders to implement corrective and preventive action plans and monitor progress to ensure timely resolution of safety concerns.
- Collaborate with Safety Training Specialists to review field inspection results, identify trends and recommend targeted improvements.
- Track and analyze key safety performance indicators.
- Prepare and present data-driven reports and dashboards to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization using digital tools and analytical methods.
- Support with the prequalification of subcontractors.
- Support event investigations.
- Procure safety PPE and other items as needed.
- Perform other duties as directed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The position requires a forward-thinking, technology-proficient professional who can combine innovative digital solutions with traditional safety practices.
- Strong computer skills especially with MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint,)
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing and integrating digital platforms, including SharePoint, Smartsheet, Safety Metrics, and SMS systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and
- PowerPoint.
- Experience in occupational safety, regulatory compliance, or risk management functions is preferred but not required.
- Must possess good planning, analysis, and organizing skills.
- Able to pay close attention to details and identify/correct mistakes.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to apply process improvement and technology-driven solutions (including AI tools) to enhance safety program effectiveness.
- Able to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Excellent Communication skills both written and oral; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health,
Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related
field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Travel Requirements:
- Traveling to the field operations and overnight travel is infrequent but possible. (10%)
License & Certifications:
- Driver License Required.
Pre-Screen

Physical Requirements:
- This position requires the ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, and reach to perform site safety inspections and assessments.
- This role may involve lifting up to 25 pounds, conducting fieldwork in various environments, and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
