As an Oracle Fusion ERP SME you will be primarily responsible for providing advanced system support and maintenance for the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP platform. In this role you will help design, implement and configure Oracle Fusion solutions and ensure the continuous performance and stability of Oracle ERP, including troubleshooting, system monitoring, and maintaining a high level of user satisfaction.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on functional expertise for the configuration, deployment, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules. 
  • Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to translate functional financial requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.
  • Assist in migration and new implementations of Oracle Fusion systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle Fusion ERP system issues, ensuring timely resolution of issues and user queries. 
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical and functional issues related to Oracle Fusion ERP module in Finance such as GL, AP, Billing, AR, Fixed Assets and Projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to build organizational expertise.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback on system performance and suggest improvements to meet evolving business requirements. 
  • Define and oversee integration strategies with third-party financial systems, banks, tax engines, and payment gateways using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and middleware.
  • Proactively monitor the Oracle Fusion ERP environment to identify potential performance issues and resolve them before impacting business operations.
  • Customization of financial reports and dashboards using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
  • Stay updated on Oracle Cloud Financials updates, patches, and new features, advising stakeholders on adoption strategies.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle Financials ERP, with at least 5+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP modules particularly in finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, Inventory and Projects)
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, including implementation and support roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial and supply chain management processes and best practices in ERP implementation
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based ERP systems and their integration with other business applications.
  • Ensure seamless data migration of historical financial transactions using FBDI, ADFdi, and Oracle Data Management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address ERP issues
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, and DevOps practices in an Oracle ERP environment.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, IT, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in data integration tools and SQL.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Smart View.
  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Financials Certified Architect, Oracle Fusion ERP Specialist) are a plus.
